Today's Outfit

It definitely feels like fall in New York City now. The change in temperature throughout the day allows creativity in mix-and-match, and the slight chill gives you the excuse to cozy up in sweaters and jackets. It's a nice day.

Purple sweater from American Apparel. This is by far my favorite sweater: chunky knit, plum purple color, crew neck, everything I want from a sweater. There are a couple other colors of the same style that are also great wardrobe pieces. It's a versatile sweater. Good with skirts, dresses and jeans. On a colder day, I wear collared shirt underneath, and the pop of color would give it a lively touch.

Skirt from Nordstrom Rack. It's my new favorite now. Another piece that can easily be dressed up or dressed down. It has cobalt blue satin seams on the sides, and the slit is located off-center on the front.
